Statistical Modeling
We fundamentally see market gyrations as a problem for algorithms to solve. We value being a little bit right a lot of the time, rather than being very right a little bit of the time. In other words, being 99.9% "right" 50.75% of the time is more important to us than than chasing volume.
Experience
At Vision our secretive traders are funded by our own private wealth. We do not accept any outside capital into our equity funds. Our Employees avoid media appearances and steer clear of industry conferences and most public gatherings. priding secrecy and speed as core virtues. We see a near term future where active trading on the equity markets become obsolete and deep learning tools with AI arbitrage inefficiencies to near perfection.
Rigorous Mitigation
We actively seek to “ring-fence” our portfolios and deploy rigorous risk mitigation in all aspects of our long strategies. we classify funds into four categories according to their return profile: absolute, symmetric, snail, and sinking. We then apply Bayesian multinomial probit and frequentist multinomial logit regressions to examine how fund strategies, fund characteristics, and past return profile influence the probability that a fund can achieve the absolute return profile.

Several technical advances have driven AI adoption.
